Phnom Penh in one day

We took the boat from Siem Reap to Cambodia's capital Phnom Penh. Yesterday we had one day to check the city out. We learned all about the terrible history of Phnom Penh (and Cambodia) by visiting
the killing fields and S21 prison. It's hard to imagine how the Khmer Rouge killed 3 million people in less then 4 years. After this we visited the russian market and had lunch were we tried the
traditional Cambodian dish (fish) Amok. It was very good! In the afternoon we went to the royal palace. And then we figured out that was enough for one day. By the way, for some reason a lot of women
wear their pyjama's outside. Orange ones with flowers, hello kitty, angry birds, we've seen them all! Today we arrived in Sihanoukville to spend some days at the beach. Our hotel has a swimming pool
so we consider ourselves very lucky! Xxx
